On NCAA National Signing Day, we launched Wrestle The Gap to highjack the conversation and bring attention to the lack of opportunities for women to wrestle at the collegiate level. Despite no media budget, the campaign attracted media attention from around the world. Women’s wrestling has since been awarded NCAA Emerging Sports Status.
